Thank you for viewing my profile. My name is Gabrielle Ferrante but most people call me Gabby. I am currently finishing my senior year of high school and I will graduate in 2015. I having been playing volleyball for five years, starting with my first year of club being in 7th grade. Over the years of continually playing volleyball I have learned many important aspects not just on the court but outside of the court. Volleyball has taught me to work well with others, be a team-leader and to always give it your all. I feel that I would be beneficially to any team because I always work hard, I am a team player, work great with others and also am very competitive.
Over my five years of playing club and my high school years I have learned that a team spirit is very important. I believe we win as a team and we lose as a team. Motivation, more often than not, comes from within the team of girls and I believe it is every team members job to participate in team building and motivation. I feel that probably the most important time for team spirit is when we are behind and have seen this first hand. Where coaches are there to guide us and lead us, the responsibility to drive that leadership to winning is with the team.
I am very serious about the game but also feel humor is a good thing and like to make others around me smile when things get too stressed. All of these things, I believe, make me a good choice for any team.
