Anna Ryan '20 Recruiting Profile

Athletics are a big part of my life, but academics and leadership are always my top priority.  I have played many sports including soccer, swimming, triathlon, track and field and softball, but volleyball is my sincere passion.  It is volleyball (the greatest game ever created) that makes me want to pursue a career in sport as a collegiate student athlete.  

My coaches continuously tell me that I have great vision, I am coachable,  and an exceptionally intelligent player.  As a student of the game, I look at every play as an opportunity to learn and lead.   There is nothing more empowering than being a part of this sport, on our team…I love the feeling of team camaraderie, being able to meet new people, make new friends and inspire teammates (and myself) to improve. 

There may be taller, faster or stronger players, but there is no one with more intelligence,  coach-ability,  or passion than me.  Thank you for your consideration and please feel free to contact me about our future together.
