Cassandra (Cassie) Yurick '11 Recruiting Profile

I am Cassie Yurick. I am a DS/Libero and am 5'5'' and 115lbs. My most gratifying team accomplishment was advancing to Minnesota State Volleyball Tournament and defeating Andover for the Consolation title. My favorite personal accomplishments were being named All-Conference Honorable Mention 2009 and 2010 and also being named All-State in Academics 2010. I have been playing club volleyball from 7th grade-present. I played on the freshmen (9th grade) and sophomore team (10th grade) and varsity (11th-12th grade). I have a great work ethic and come to practice ready to work. I am not a team captain(liberos not allowed to be captains), but I feel I am a leader on my teams. I set up our defensive alignment, I call out serve locations, and encourage my teammates throughout a match. I am looking for a DII, DIII, or NAIA school with enrollment greater than 3000. I am open to both public and private schools. I'd like to concentrate my focus to schools in the Midwest and West locations but would not exclude schools in other locations in the U.S. My desired major, so far, would be in chemistry. I will work hard to earn playing time my freshmen year. I look forward to a new challenge, having a lot of fun with a new team and meeting a bunch of new friends. Thanks for considering me. Cassie
