I've always known I've been planning on going to college since elementary school, and ever since I got into middle school volleyball in 6th grade, I just want to keep playing the game I love in college.
I'm presently in my senior year. We worked hard this past season (2014-2015) on my MN Select 17-1's club volleyball team, had a little fun this summer with beach volleyball, just wrapped up our fall high school season, and getting ready for my MN Select 18's team to start this winter. My goal is to continue to work hard in high school and to continue to improve on my grades, all the while playing high school and club volleyball, in preparation for college volleyball. The past two seasons, with my primary position of outside hitter, I've been fortunate to play all the way around for much of this year which has really helped me develop my overall game. In addition, I continue to work with a couple of our club coaches to improve on my hitting and digging, plus attending a couple fall mini-camps prior to the start of the club season.
I believe what makes me a little different from others is that I work hard off the court on my conditioning by being self motivated at the health club, and working part-time with a personal trainer on V-ball conditioning. I'm a very positive teammate, always encouraging my teammates, and never getting down on them, plus working on not getting down on myself when going through some rough spots.
After high school graduation, I want to attend a four year college that carries my academic concentration (but I don't know what that is yet) to get a great education, along with a fun and competitive volleyball program with a great campus life.
Thanks for looking,
Elle
