March 2014Personal Statement
My name is Kathy Xavier. I am a senior at Troy High School. This is my 12th year of playing volleyball. Within those 12 years, i did camps from ages 6-10. When I was finally old enough, I played at regional level on a 12's team at Michigan Elite Volleyball Club. After that season, I continued playing at Michigan Elite for 13, 14, 15 and 16 nationals. I then went to Dynasty volleyball club due to all spots being taken at MI Elite. I played at an 18's level at Dynasty which got me prepared for my current season at Force Volleyball Academy!
I believe I have enough experience to be a leader and help out team mates as well as fixing my own mistakes. Going to the gym has become a daily hobby, working on my weaknesses in the court, such as increasing feet speed, reaction time and my vertical. I work every day to become a better volleyball player!
