Bailey Cantrell '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been a varsity letter winner at Mason High School for 3 years. I was blessed to be nominated captain of my team this year and thoroughly enjoyed it. I want to play at the next level and help a college program  win. I play defensive specialist / libero position and really enjoy a perfect pass and will do anything to go after loose balls. I am very intense and determined to help my team start the offensive play by giving my setter as good a pass as I can. My team can rely on me to at least attempt to get any ball up and hopefully feed off of my enthusiasm. I love volleyball, plain and simple.

What makes me different from other recruits is my intensity to get every ball and my leadership on and off the court. I really enjoy being around the girls before and after games. I believe I am a leader in and out of the classroom as well. I would like to study medicine and aspire to be a emergency room trauma surgeon in a hospital.
