NAZ SAHIN VOLLEYB...Personal Statement
My goals in college are simple - to play competitive volleyball and do the absolute best that I can in the classroom. I never give up, I give my all for my team, and I try to remain positive no matter what happens on the court. As a setter, I work hard to stay one step ahead of the opposition and make decisions that put my teammates in the best position succeed.
During my sophomore (2014) season, my team finished as the runner-up in New England (Class C) and put together a 15-3 record overall. After the season, I was fortunate enough to be selected as a New England Prep All-Star and Team Offensive MVP.
In my junior year (2015) season, my team had a chance of playing at playoffs and got 3rd seated with a 12-3 record. I was also selected as a New England Prep All-Star and Team Offensive MVP.
In addition to my achievements in scholastic volleyball, I am also the starting setter for my summer club team in Izmir, Turkey (Karsiyaka).
