Samantha Chaisson '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sam Chaisson and I recently moved from Wellington Florida to Duxbury Massachusetts in August 2013.  I have been playing volleyball since grade school and I am very interested in continuing to play at the collegiate level.  I have been playing at the varsity level for 4 seasons and on a club team for 3 years.

I have recently updated my film - it includes highlights from 3 recent games.  My team, Duxbury High School, finished the 2014 season at 20-2 and undefeated in our league.  My up to date season stats are on MaxPrep - as the team libero I have a 90%+ serve return. 

I started my career playing for The King's Academy (TKA) in West Palm Beach Florida.  I played mostly OH and front row.  I played club in Florida for Palm Beach Juniors where I played both front and back row.  I was honored to be named Captain and MVP of my club team.  Our greatest club success was finishing at the top of the bronze division at the AAU championship in Orlando Florida in 2012.

I moved to Duxbury Massachusetts and I am now playing with a great high school and club team.  My high school team finished undefeated and league champions in 2013.  I played Libero the entire season.  I also play for Mizuno SA U17 Elite as a DS, OH and Libero depending on the strategy and opponent.  We have a great 2014 team returning for Duxbury.  I am playing Libero and we have high expectations!

My goal is to continue to play volleyball at a high level in college.  I am very open to all potential opportunities and look forward to speaking with coaches and finding a great school to play and continue my education.
