As a student-athlete I have learned how to set and achieve my goals in order to improve those that are most important. My goal is to be able to graduate from a college that will offer the best possible academic opportunity while allowing me to play Volleyball at the next level. What I offer to a team is a player with the drive to be the best, that's eager to learn more. I love a hard work out, and I don't tire easily. I feel that I'm a quick setter who understands the game. I'm a team player that knows how to get along with others, give everything I got on the court as well as off. Since elementary school I've had a volleyball in my hands, its a huge part of my life.
As a freshman I started as a setter on the JV volleyball team and ran Varsity cross country during the same season, I also started JV basketball last year while playing club volleyball for Revolution 16 White (Chambersburg, PA) . As a Sophomore I came off the bench (started a few) as a setter for the varsity volleyball team that has two senior setters whom won states the pervious year. We finished 12-4 this year with 8 seniors, one of those being my sister. I'm playing JV / Varsity basketball again this this year and planning to run track for the high school team.
I currently have a 3.80 GPA, which I'm working hard on improving. I'm an Honor Roll student, enrolled in Honors classes. I have always dreamed of playing volleyball in college, being a role model to my peers and making my family proud. I want to play in college at the highest level of competition. I am committed to continuous improvement in the classroom and on the court to make a positive impact on a team. And as I continue to grow and learn, there is no substitute for hard work and that being a part of something greater than myself is what's important.
