Oladia Menchaca '17 Recruiting Profile

My Goal as a college student is to not only be a great student academically, but to be a better person.  my main goal is to also be the best volleyball player i can be, for instance doing what's best for my team, being a great setter  to my outside and middle hitters, having a positive and energetic attitude throughout the whole game no matter what the score is and being a good sport win or lose.  Bonding and trust is key in any volleyball team.  

My energy and enthusiasm is what makes me a great volleyball player on the court and a great student in a classroom.  I'm always determined on what needs to be done and by working hard and focusing, i succeed in whatever i do.  i am a very good leader.  i love to lead my team because i am guiding my team into success and guiding them to reaching their goal.  Not only do i play volleyball, but i run track, i am in the academy of finance, future peer mediator, and i dance.  i currently have a 3.75 GPA and i am preparing myself for the SAT next year.  My ultimate favorite subject in school is math.
