My dream is to become the best libero/defensive specialist that I can be. In my junior year of high school, I shattered the school's single match and single season volleyball record with 46 digs in a single game, 290 digs in a single season and ranked as a Dig Leader with 4.9 per game. I have been a excellent athlete my whole life, starting in varsity volleyball, basketball, track and participating in club ball in all three sports. I was an State Qualifier in Track and All Area Volleyball, for two years . For my professional career, I have always loved science and plan to work in the Health Care industry, as a Physician's Assistant. I am a member of the National Honor Society and have always been a leader at school and involved in my community. I served for four years in Student Government and was elected as Vice President. I belong to several clubs and our church’s Youth Ministry Group which volunteer with “Habitat for Humanity” and “I Serve”. I have challenged myself academically, by taking honors and advanced placement courses and will have earned the AP Scholar Recognition Achievement Award. I have a strong commitment to work hard, commitment to serve others and I have the discipline to follow through.I have committed to Penn State, Abington in 2013-2014 as their libero. Received Most Valuable Player Award 2012-2013. Latest New 2014 NEAC.
Victoria Lohman (Frederick, Md.) has been chosen as the NEAC Women’s Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week after a milestone performance for the Penn State Abington Nittany Lions. Lohman, who entered the week ranked third in the nation in digs per set at 7.26, add 154 more digs through five matches for the Nittany Lions to average 9.06 digs per set through 17 sets. That total was helped by her incredible performance during a 3-2 win over Albright Saturday, as she pumped out 72 digs to leave her with one of the highest totals ever for a five-set match across all of NCAA Division III. That performance, along with a match-best 25 digs in a 3-0 conference win over Bryn Athyn earlier in the week, helped her reach 1,000 career digs in just two seasons at Abington and makes her the first Nittany Lion to do so in program history. Lohman now has a NEAC-most 466 digs for conference-leading average of 7.77 digs per set.
