Nicole Belcher '18 Recruiting Profile

I am extremely passionate about volleyball, and it has been my dream to play at the college level.  I love playing volleyball and competing, and I equally love pushing myself to become a better player, teammate, and person through the sport. I am the type of player every coach and player wants on their team.  I lead by example both on and off the court.  

I am known for how hard I work to compete at games, practices, extra trainings, and school.   I want to be challenged on the court and academically.  It motivates me to keep working and pushing to be the best I can.  Academically, I take the most challenging courses available to learn and grow.  In volleyball, I play at the open level and spend extra time in the gym to continue to improve.  I love to set goals and work to achieve them by improving and overcoming challenges.

I am also known for being a role model teammate and person.  With my teammates, I have a supportive and positive attitude.  I believe teams achieve their best results when everyone works together to ensure that every player performs at their highest level possible.  I’ll do whatever I can to help my teammates both on and off the court.  I always treat all people with respect.  I’m never a discipline or attitude problem, and I’ll always do what I’m supposed to do.

I’m looking for a college where I can be an important part of their volleyball program and receive the education and development I need to have a successful career and life.  I’m open to all types of schools and geographies, and I have not yet decided on a field of study.

Volleyball has been an integral part of helping me become the best person I can be.  I look forward to continuing that journey in college.
