My name is Kailey Harris. i am thirteen years old. I'm in the 7th grade at Red Bird Christian school. I've been playing Volleyball going on 3 years now and I have fell in love with this sport! I used to play Basketball and I gave it up to focus all my time on the sport that I love, Volleyball. This year I got the opportunity to play on our high school team here. It was a great experience and I was very honored. I was a starter on the JV team and also played on the Varsity Team. I worked my butt of till I got a starting position on the Varsity team as well. I'm the first young middle school girl ever in our school history to ever exceed and do so well on the high school team. We played in a All A Classic Tournament and came up runner up and I needed 1 more point to had made the All A Classic Tournament Team. As a team, we made history this year for our Christian school. This was the first year we had ever made it to a district game! We were district runners up. We made it to the regional's but came up short in our second game. But super proud of my team! I only hope and pray that I can continue to play this sport that I love in college somewhere! I know I'm just in 7th grade but I don't let that bother me when I'm up against these high school girls. I'm very competitive. My mommy always tells me before a game you may be the smallest and the youngest but dynamite comes in small packages! Never give up and never stop! Thank you for reading and God Bless
