Amanda Bries '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a Junior libero/defensive specialist from Manchester, IA. I have 7 years of club volleyball experience and I am a 2 year varsity starter. I was a second team all-conference selection, as well as honorable mention. I received the "Hardest Worker" award. My club volleyball team has qualified for the 2011 Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia. I realize I have started this recruiting process late, but I want to pursue my dream of playing competitive college volleyball. I am looking for a college with an outstanding academic reputation where I can obtain a degree in the Kinesiology/Exercise Science and/or Dietetic fields. I would like to attend a school with a great "college town" atmosphere. I am interested in schools in the Midwest, but would be open to exploring schools in other areas of the country. I am a passionate player when I step on the volleyball court whether it is practice or a match. I love life! I love volleyball! I live, breathe, and think volleyball! I enjoy every second of it and will work hard and do whatever it takes to accomplish my dreams!
