2013 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I was raised in a soccer family. I had played soccer my whole life. My older brothers both played and were very good. I first played volleyball in 5th grade. I instantly fell in love with the game and said goodbye to soccer. Now that I am older my love for the game has grown into so much more. I'm a hard worker and all I want to do is to improve myself and my team. My dream is to play volleyball in college at the next level. I want to make a difference on a team. Even if that means I am on the sidelines cheering on my teammates or playing in the game. I want to be a part of something great and I'm willing to work as hard as I possibly can to do so. My favorite quote is by John Wooden, " Sports do not build character. They reveal it." That quote is right on target. Volleyball has shown me what kind of person I am meant to be.
