Update - Sept. 2017:

Penn Varsity Volleyball is currently ranked 6th in the state and 57th in the country!

Our team is stacked with talented upper classmen. Several of which are already committed to DI, and DII college volleyball programs!  We have: 7 seniors, 5 juniors, 10 sophomores, and an army of freshmen.

I'm excited to report I'm learning a new position! Middle! And even though im just one of many freshmen, I managed to earn a starting roll on the JV team, and now I’ve been moved up to Varsity!

Looking forward to growing, learning and getting better in the coming months!!!

Just a quick update for you about my progress (spring/summer 2017):

Academics:

Made the High Honor Roll again with a 3.9 GPA!

Inducted into Junior National Honors Society.

Volleyball News (Penn High School):

I'm proud to report that Coach Sarah Hendricks (Head Volleyball Coach at Penn High School) has invited me to join the Penn varsity team at a private team camp at the University of Notre Dame in July!  This is kind of special because each year, they only invite a few rising freshmen, and this year, they invited me!  As you probably know, Penn Volleyball is a top 10 perennial powerhouse in Indiana and is always in the hunt for a state championship, so I'm super pumped that I get to start my career as a Lady Kingsmen with the team at Notre Dame!

Track & Field News:

I broke the school record in the 100m hurdles, again!  That's 2 school records I hold now.   Here's a video recap of my track season.

Softball News (Travel Team and Penn High School):

Once again, I've been selected to the Penn High School Softball summer league team! It's a team coached by Penn HS varsity coaches. Just for rising 8th and 9th graders. We play area high school JV and Varsity teams--last year we went undefeated--even against HS varsity teams!  

Penn Softball is ranked #1 in Indiana and #32 in the country!

For my travel team, I'm batting over .600 after 4 tournaments and my on-base percentage is even higher than that. I'm the starting shortstop but also rotate in at third base and center field.
