Playing sports at a college level has been a goal for me ever since my freshman year in highschool. I'm looking for a smaller school, but I am open to a larger school if I see opportunities there for me. Most likely, I will look for a DII or DIII school. I would like to play for a team that is competitive, but i also want to be a part of a team where I will be able to play. The majority of the time I play as a setter in the front and back row, and although I am only 5'5", i have gotten good at getting touches on the ball, setting a block, and soft-blocking, and as for back row, I consider myself to be quick to the ball and a good defender. It has never been neccessary for me to be the best player on a team because it makes me work harder to improve and play my best, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't like to make an impact on a team. For practice I am always the first to show up and the last to leave. I am very dedicated to volleyball, and I think i am good at balancing school and sports. I would like to go to a school where athletics and acedemics are equally important. I can offer a team leadership and hard work. I am a little quiet sometimes, but through years of being a setter on the court I have learned to take charge and lead vocally, and by example. I haven't fully committed to a major, but i will probably major in somthing in a science field like biology.
