I have been playing volleyball ever since I was in fifth grade. The first time I stepped on the court, I have dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. The last couple years have been extremely hard on me. With knowing I had volleyball to turn to and to work hard every day, I grew to love the sport even more. With wanting to play for the love of the sport, I know being able to have the opportunity to play in college will be a one and a lifetime opportunity.
I have a strong standing float serve and I am a tall, strong, hardworking setter. I switched from being an opposite to a setter my Sophmore year of high school. Ever since then I have pushed myself to improve in all skills of being an excellent setter. I encourage my teammates to always be their best on the court and I am a very strong team leader with a strong mental toughness. I am a very coachable player who strives to be the best and works really hard to become a better setter, teammate, and player all around.
In school, I work very hard to maintain a high GPA. I am involved in multiple clubs outside of school including American Sign Language club, Make A Wish Foundation Club, Best Buddies, Unified Track, and a Manager for Men's Volleyball.
In college, I want to push myself on and off the court. I am very open to multiple options to ultimately find the right college that fits me and to be able to play at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become an even better team leader for my future teammates and to find the right college for me to be able to play at the next level.
