Acadia Biever '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Acadia......I'm not the tallest player on the court but I have great enthusiasm, spunk, energy, a GREAT arm!  I love to celebrate a great play whether it is mine or a teammates. What I want to feel in collegiate level volleyball is the "collegiate" part. I have worked very hard over the years and given up other sports and interests due to my love of volleyball!  Although I have enjoyed high school and club volleyball I am looking for a college program that will be even more challenging.  Many of my teammates love the game but hate to train, whereas I love to compete, for sure, but I also love to practice.  I try to give each practice and each game all my energy.  I know collegiate volleyball will be much more difficult and I am looking forward to the opportunity, challenge and growth that it will bring.  It is important to me to play at a school that has a good fan base I love the '7' player atmosphere.  I want to find a college program that pushes me until my absolute last breath. Where I can continue to develop, grow and contribute to a winning team.  I want to find a college program that believes in having fun but also in working hard every single minute while on the court.  I like to be intense in training and in matches. I am one of the most intense players you will ever meet. At the same time I want to find a school that feels comfortable to me, where I feel at home and where I feel that I can pursue courses that will prepare me for a career.  I am an organized, positive, hard working athlete and I know that I have a wonderful adventure ahead of me!
