Kyra Shull '20 Recruiting Profile

    Hello, my name is Kyra Shull. I am a 5'1" libero/setter for the Lincolnwood Lady Lancers. I have played volleyball since my sixth grade year and ever since that first practice I have fallen deeper in love with the game every time I step out onto a court. I do as many extra leagues as I can and if I'm not actually playing I am coaching. During the spring I coach 3rd-5th grades and during the winter I help coach our Jr. High team at Lincolnwood. Outside of volleyball I am always trying to find a way to help my school or community. I participate in the Lincolnwood Community Service Organization, Lincolnwood High School Choir while also helping teach the Jr. High Choir, Lincolnood Drama Club, Lincolnwood Book Club, Lincolnwood Spanish Club and, Lincolnwood Orange Crush Fan Section. 

    I am looking for a school to help me best pursue my long time dream of becoming an elementary school teacher. Along with majoring in education I would like to double minor in photography and coaching. All of these careers I believe would be good for me to pursue because I love helping people and I know in all of these careers I am helping someone somehow. Whether it is capturing someones most beautiful moments in life, helping children understand something that they never understood before or, helping someone become a better athlete. 

    I believe that I would be a good asset to your team because I'm always up for a challenge. I will push myself to become a better athlete and student. I will do anything and everything to meet your standards and reach my goals as a student athlete. I work well with others and I'm willing to work with everyone. I don't ever give up on anything I want. I will do anything to pursue my dream of getting a volleyball scholarship to the college of my dreams.
