I am a Junior at Sandpoint High School, in Sandpoint, ID. I have played as an OH on the varsity team since my freshman year, and have been a 6 rotation starter for the past two. Beyond school volleyball, I have participated in our local club, Sandpoint VBC from the age of 8 through 2012 when my U16 team made it to USVBA Jr. Nationals in Columbus, OH. This past club season, I wanted to challenge myself even more, so I tried out and made a highly competitive Club Catalyst U16 team out of Spokane, WA. The hour and a half commute to and from practices, 2 to 3 times a week made it hard for me to continue with Varsity Golf, but I was still able to maintain my 3.8 GPA.
My high school team finished 4th in the 4A Idaho State Competition this year. I was honored by being voted Most Valuable Player of the Year for the 4A IEL All-League, I also was chosen for the 1st team All North Idaho, and nominated for the 2014 Idaho Hall of Fame 5A/4A Volleyball Player of the year.
I am currently still playing for Club Catalyst U17s. I absolutely love my team, and we have showed so much heart this year playing through some pretty devastating injuries and still achieving a very successful season ranking 1st in the Evergreen Region U18 division. However, because of the injuries on our team, we unfortunately opted out of taking the bid for Nationals, and decided it would be more beneficial to add a couple of players and participate in the Phoenix Festival.
My post high school goal is to attend a 4 year university where I can continue playing volleyball and earn a bachelor's degree in Business Management.
