Kylie Peets '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Kylie Peets and I am a junior at Salmon High School located in the city of Salmon, Idaho. I love athletics and participate in Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Track. I love to play the piano and guitar as well as enjoy drawing and oil painting. In the summer I enjoy hiking in the beautiful mountains surrounding my home and paddle boarding through rapids on the Salmon River. 

I am an honor student at Salmon High School and am in Pre-Calculus, AP- English III, and am taking a dual credit course in Chemistry. I have a cumulative 4.0 GPA with a strong desire to excel in all of my classes.  One of my most important goals is to go to college and be the first in my family to earn a degree. I am undecided at this time what major/field I am going to pursue, but I know that I will put my heart into whatever I choose.

Another goal that I have had for a long time is to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I play the position of middle hitter on my high school team and am a strong defensive player at the net as well as a huge offensive threat. Some of my goals this season were to be mentally strong, have a positive attitude, be a team player, and never give up. This season my team won districts for the first time in 25 years and took third at the State Championships! I know that a huge part of our success was because of our goals and that we played so well as a team.  

I am a hard worker, a dedicated student, and a strong competitor and am excited to explore all of the new opportunities that my future holds.
