Emily Messenger '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Emily Messenger. I am 5'9'', and 150 lbs. My most important accomplishment of my senior year of high school volleyball is that I was named MVP of our varsity team. I have participated in volleyball for 6 years, including junior high. I strive to be the best I can be. I was a team captain of my varsity team, which helped me develop leadership skills. I always am excited and energized to play volleyball. It is my dream to play volleyball in college because volleyball is what I love to do. I am open to going anywhere that will allow me to play volleyball. I would preferably like to play volleyball for a semi-small school. If I were to be recruited, my family would need financial aid to help pay for the costs. My desired majors are either medical assisting, or cosmetology. My athletic goals are to play on a team with girls that just love to play the game, and that love to work hard and succeed.
