Lindsey Knight '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lindsey Knight. I am 5'10 . My dream and goal is play Volleyball in College, I am open as to where I go right now. I played my first club year in 9th grade. I was awarded MVP for that Club Season. My goal was to make Varsity , entering 10th grade. I achieved that Goal, and was a starter as a middle Blocker/hitter. I train with a personal trainer that shares my motto, which is no one works harder. I sand train, plyometric , and weight train,on a regular schedule.I have been doing it for 1 .5 years and have no plans on stopping. My main objective is to prove anyone, who ever doubted I could play in college wrong. I am a hard worker, and keep my academics up and maintain good grades. I love the Game, I love the sport. I improve greatly every season , and continue to get better. I transferred schools to better my education and volleyball experience after my season in 10th grade. I knew I needed to work hard in order to play on the State Champion Volleyball team that I had transferred to. I play for Warner Christian as a Middle. We took the State title again this year. :] I finished my season with 96 Blocks, And I did not play every game , we had 3 Middles. I was a Starter for my Club Team this year , I played as a middle Blocker/Hitter on a 17 USAV Team. We won Gold in one of our Tournaments and always went to semi finals. I have not determined what my major will be just yet. I will have a lot to offer a school when I graduate high school, as I am a dedicated student and a diligent hardworking athlete. Volleyball is my life, and how I have chosen to spend my time in my high school life. I cannot imagine doing anything else. Like the song says, It isnt about how fast I get there, its whats waiting on the other side that I am pushing for. College Volleyball YEAH!!! Check me out!
