Hello, my name is Sarah O’Connor and I’m from Tampa, Florida. I am 17 years old and will graduate from Seffner Christian Academy in 2015.  I have played volleyball since I was 10 years old and played club volleyball as Libero / DS for the past 5 years and U18 for the past two years. Volleyball is my passion and my dream is to play competitive volleyball at the collegiate level for an energetic, cohesive team. I have played for KP Elites, Plant City Elites and Lakeland Volleyball Academy. My freshman year I played starting libero for JV. My sophmore and junior year I was starting libero for varsity and I am very excited for our upcoming season and my goal is to get to STATE!  In my spare time I train and condition with Cooper Sports Performance and run cross-country.  I am currently enrolled in honors and AP classes and I plan on coaching youth volleyball at the YMCA this summer. I always give 150% in everything I do and I'm always there to uplift my team. I have been told many times that I am very coachable and work well under pressure. I believe both academics and athletics are important and plan on majoring in Nursing and continuing to get my master's degree and becoming a nurse practitioner specializing in neonatal nursing.
