Leah Green '17 Recruiting Profile

We finished 17U club year 2nd at AAUs and 9th at JOs both in 17 open.  We were ranked 6th in the Nation by Prep Volleyball at the end of the year.  We only lost one match at JO's against TAV who ultimately won. I believe I am a very coachable athlete.  I have only played competitive club volleyball since my 14U year.  I love being in the middle of a big game against the toughest competition.  I am also our regional runner up in Triple Jump.  I am very organized and have learned to balance my responsibilities between volleyball, varsity track, academics, leadership, community service, and the arts.  I play piano, guitar, violin, and ukulele.  I believe I bring a positive presence to the court and motivation to my teammates.  I would love to eventually pursue my MBA and/or Law Degree with a minor in Spanish.  I want to ultimately make a positive influence in this world.  I have always taken the most difficult course load available to me.  I love the challenge.  I have made a decision to transfer to Lake Highland Prep this year from Trinity Prep where I have been since 6th Grade.  I believe the Coaching and overall athletic program as well as its academic excellence will help me achieve my goals.  I will have 9 AP classes when I graduate.
