Hi! My name is Sam Hagar and I am from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. I am projected to graduate high school in 2012 and my primary positions are defensive specialist/ libero and outside hitter. This year in club I am playing libero and defensive specialist.
I have been playing for the school team since the sixth grade and I have been playing travel since I was thirteen years old. I made the high school varsity team as a freshmen and I have continued to play on it since then. Each year since then, my high school team has advanced to the district finals, winning my sophomore and senior years. This past year we made it farther than any team in 10 years advancing to regional finals. I have played on very talented club teams placing at a few tournaments for the past 5 years. This year, my club team has won two tournaments and placed second at Atlanta Big South.
I am very interested in taking my skills and progressing at the next level. I am a hard worker on the court and most certainly in the classroom as well. I always work hard and put 100% into everything I do. I am very competitive with myself and I always want to get better. I see myself as being an asset to your college/university as a student and as an athlete. I hope to continue to develop my skills and play at the highest competition level possible. I am very eager to hear from you whether or not you are interested. Thanks so much!
