Hi my name is Asanté Lopez and I am a senior at University Christian School in Jacksonville, Florida. I recently moved to Jacksonville due to being a military family. My goal is to play volleyball at a competitive level where I will be able to have the ability to learn more about volleyball and to apply my skills. I know that I will be a great contribution to the team and make a positive impact. I am a hard worker on and off the court and will never give up. I believe anyone can do anything as long as they set their mind to it.
Throughout my high school career, I have maintained a GPA of 3.8. I have maintained a starting position on the varsity volleyball team for the past 3 years at my last high school (Tipton Rosemark Academy). I was apart of Mu Alpha Theta, Junior National Beta Club, National Honors Society, Spanish Club, and Science Club. In the summer of 2013, I attended NYLF for Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia for a week and it was held at Emory University.
In college I would like to excel not only in my academics, but also my athletic career throughout college. After playing volleyball at the collegiate level, I would like to start going to school to become a Radiologist Technician. I will do whatever it takes to accomplish my goals.
