My name is Ayadeh Thegenus-Lechin, I currently reside in Deerfield beach, FL, play volleyball as a libero/defensive specialist, and my goal is to compete as a collegiate volleyball player at a strong academic institution. I have enjoyed playing volleyball since the age of 5 and competitively for 6 years now. I grew up surrounded by great professional sand and indoor volleyball players that have taken the time to guide and coach me this far and I am thankful for that.
I am a driven, hard working athlete who will do everything in my ability to be the best and to perform my best at all times. As a sophomore at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale Beach, FL. some of my strengths are to motivate and provide leadership to my team throughout the season, during games and practices. This past school season Cardinal Gibbons ended up second in our region.
My primary position is L/DS but I have played different positions if the coach requires it. My goal is to be a dependable all-around player for the coach and the team. I am passionate about playing volleyball and look forward to a future of opportunities. I have worked extremely hard to contribute to every team I have been a member of. My ultimate goal is to apply to a University or College that will offer me the opportunity to grow and excel in ways I didn't think possible. I look forward to the challenges that the next few years will bring.
