I am seeking a college with a strong program in Special Education. Helping children with learning and social disabilities is my first passion in life so I plan to make this my career path. I plan to pursue a bachelors and masters in Special Education. My second passion is volleyball. I have been playing competitive school and club volleyball for five years and I cannot imagine my life without it. I am an extremely dedicated both on and off the court. I train year round with a speed, agility and weight lifting coach to keep in shape during the season and off season. On any team that I am on, I am always seen as the positive role leader on the court. My enthusiasm and positive attitude gets my team fired up. I hold myself to the highest academic and athletic standards which is what makes me highly coach able. As a well rounded volleyball player, I am trained and have played every position on the court. One club season, my coach asked me to step up and play middle hitter. I rose to the challenge and handled it well even though it was slightly awkward because I am left handed. I am most comfortable on the right side because I am left handed, but I am very athletic and have extensive experience as a DS or setter. I am seeking a team that is driven, encouraging and treats each other with respect, like a family.
