My name is Ellen Edgerton and I am a 3 year All-Conference libero from Vail, Colorado. Entering my senior year, I have a 3.94 un-weighted GPA, and I was awarded the 2011 Vail Mountain School Student Athlete of the year and the 2012 Vail Mountain School Alumni Scholar. In just 2012, I was also recognized for excellence in History, Science, Spanish, and English. During my freshman season on Varsity, my team won the District Championship and we advanced on to place 3rd in Regionals. In addition to my three years starting on the Vail Mountain School’s varsity volleyball team, I demonstrated my leadership skills while I served as a captain of my club volleyball team for 5 years. I just finished a competitive season on the Vail Volleyball Club 17s national team and enjoyed the intensity. I am known as the spark player who continually fires people up for a competitive game. I am interested in the sciences, particularly bio-chemistry; however, I aspire to study a subject that inspires me to make a difference and impact in the world. I am looking for a college where I can have strong academics and a highly competitive volleyball team at the top level!
