Ana Vucetic '11 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 5'9" setter that's an exchange student from Serbia currently living in Pueblo, CO. I've been playing club for 8 years, 5 as a right side hitter and the past 3 years as a setter. I'm the captain of my club team "Sloboda S." and last year we qualified to play on a senior level winning 1st place in our league. This is my first year playing US volleyball and I was the starting setter and Co-Captain of the varsity team that was undefeated for 9 games. Even though I'm a senior here I have to finish high school in Serbia next year so I think I started the recruiting process at the right time. I'm an agile player, a quick thinker and a fast learner both in school and on the court. Throughout my high school education if I wasn't on the honor roll I nearly made it. I don't have a particular area in mind where I want to go to college so I'm open to every college where I can get a good education and a chance to compete in the sport I love. I want to pursue a carrier in business and hopefully play professionally one day. I take my athletics and education very seriously but I always try to motivate my teammates and have fun on the court.
