Kaylee Wilburn '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaylee, and I've been playing volleyball for 10 years. I have committed a lot of my life to playing volleyball my goal is to play at the collegiate level. I'm proud to say that along with volleyball I have kept up with my academics and pushed myself by taking hard classes. I don't like taking the easy way out and as with volleyball there is no easy way out of any game or any practice and that is why I love it. It is a mental game where although your attitude and effort play a huge role, you must keep your mentality strong and show mental toughness. My mentality is shown through my big personality, as well that I am a leader on the court. I hope to bring all of these aspects about myself onto the collegiate court as well as learn from others some even better qualities to carry with me when playing.
