I fell in love with volleyball in seventh grade and now I am looking to move to the next level and I believe I have full capability to do so. I am a strong personality on and off the court and that is one of the main reasons I believe I have what it takes to be a setter at the collegiate level. Specifically I am a 5'7 setter with 3 years of club indoor and beach experience, however, I have played and been a setter for 5 years. I have a positive, up-beat, goofy personality that is infectious on the court and that keeps my teammates up when the game is down. As captain of my club team, I take full responsibility in leading the game with my attitude and making smart plays. I am very competitive and I understand the mental aspect of volleyball. It is always about the next point and how to better the ball each time I touch it. I'm driven, consistent, and disciplined and always give the game and my teammates my best effort at every practice and every game. I have managed being a two sport athlete my whole athletic career. My drive and discipline does not stop at volleyball, however, it begins with my academics. I'm enrolled in college classes and have continued to have over a 4.0 GPA. I am looking for a college that can give me the best opportunity possible to play volleyball and push me in my academics as I am leaning toward psychology as my major. I believe there is always room for improvement and growth and I can not wait to see what my future holds!
