Hannah Semon '16 Recruiting Profile

    I love volleyball! I am a very talkative and aggressive player on the court, I play to win and will work hard to get there. I Am also very committed. In my high school career I have earned my school volleyball programs' commitment award for 3 times and was nominated as the varsity team captain of 2015.  I  won 3 player of the game awards and made the NIKE All-Tournament team along with the Saphire Division   Most Outstanding Player. On top of that I also earned the player of the year award, most outstanding defensive player and made the Tucson All Sectional 1st team. Another amazing accomplishment that I am most proud of is my breaking the record in my high schools volleyball program for most digs in a season with more than 539 digs.

    Outside of volleyball I played basketball and started as a guard and was a co-captain of the varsity team. In high school I was active in the National Honor Society, Veteran's Heritage Project, Student Voters Club, and the Pencils of Promise club. Outside of high school I played club volleyball with Club Cactus Juniors, played in some sand tournaments, and volunteered. I had also won my high schools High School Heisman Award, and the Spotlight On Youth Award.

Now I am a Freshman at Yavapai College and play as their starting libero. I have been nominated Roughrider of the week two times in our past season where we got third place competing for District Champions. I hope to transfer to a four year university in the fall of 2018 to continue playing the sport I love and pursue the education I need to become a Special Education teacher.
