I am a very personable and responsible high school sophomore with proven time management and team skills developed from playing competitive sports, Girl Scouts and volunteer engagements. Strong interpersonal skills enhanced by taking part in club volleyball, dance, art and theater activities to develop confidence and communication abilities.
When I was 6 years old I was adopted from Ethiopia and moved to the United States. I had to learn English and adapt to a completely different culture and way of life. I have learned that hard work and dedication are the key to everything in life. I work part-time, belong to Girl Scouts (working on my Gold Award), play volleyball and maintain an average 3.8-4.0 GPA including 2 honors classes.
I practice and play volleyball when ever time permits. Volleyball is my life! I strive to improve my game and personal skills by continually asking for feedback from my coaches and team mates. I concentrate on strengthening my personal skill level and being the best I can be both individually and as part of my team.
