My passion for volleyball began in sixth grade when I made the team. I went home and watched videos of girls playing in college and I had aspire to have the talent that they had. After watching college athletes compete, goal setting became a huge factor in my game of volleyball and academics. As much work as I was producing on the court I did the same in the classroom. After playing club my freshman year I really started to develop this fire inside me and every time I went out to play I would unleash it. This past club season was a dramatic change for me, my club was an hour away I really had to learn time management skills. .My team and I were able to go to Nationals in Florida this year, it was an eye opener and it made me strive to be better than my opponent.
I have always seen myself perusing a college degree and playing volleyball at a college level. I am hoping to get my degree in Kinesiology. Why I think I would be a great player for a college team is ever since I started playing in sixth grade I have been awarded "Most dedicated player", I'm not afraid to put in the work, to increase my skill, to be there for my team, to not go out without a fight. I imply the dedication into everything that I do. A bad attitude to me is like a flat tire you can't go anywhere until you change it.
