Selina Petrosky '12 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Selina Petrosky and I am a senior at Liberty high school. I am 6'0, 140 pounds. This is my first year at Liberty however, I went to Independence high school freshman through junior year.  I have played and started Varsity all four years, but my sophomore year is when I recieved the award of Up and Coming Player.
My Junior year I recieved the honor of being one of our three captains. At the end of the season i was awarded MVP and  First team all Region.  My senior year was tough for me. I had transfered from Independence high school to Liberty and with them having such a good sports reputation, I was scared. I worked really hard and eventually I was a starter. At the end of the season I obtained Most Improved Player and Second team all Region. Since I was a captain i believe that I can bring hard work and determination to the team by having a good attitude and working hard at every practice. I myself am a very coachable athlete. If you tell me to do something it is going to get done, even if i have to stay there all night, Since I plan on playing college volleyball I would like to go a regualr size school nothing to big and on the west coast because I do not do well with cold weather. Also, somewhere that has a good medical program because I hope to pursue a career in nutrition or physical therapy.
