Personal Statement

I aspire to play NCAA Division I collegiate level volleyball where I hope to become a highly contributive player. I am an athlete with a great collaborative team approach and competitive spirit. I am a student that maintains high academic expectations. I am a responsible, respectful, and hard working individual determined to achieve my goals. I am always ready to go and willing to put in all of the effort needed to accomplish a task. I am a leader on the court with my positive attitude and encouragement of my team mates. I am looking for an excellent academic institution to continue my educative growth and a volleyball team with competitive ideals and positive team spirit. My coaches describe me as athletic, extremely dedicated, with an intense work ethic and desire to always improve my skills. I have proven to have excellent time management skills balancing school, sports, service hours and leisure activities. I am a junior looking forward to more great seasons in high school and club volleyball. I am dedicated to continuing my academic and athletic excellence. I am still growing and working hard to achieve both my athletic and academic goals. This summer, I went to Colorado Springs, CO, for the USAVB A2 camp as a setter. Although this was my first year trying out for USAVB as a setter, I was the number one setter at the A2 HP camp and my team won a gold medal in tournament play.  I also played sand volleyball this past summer and loved it!  My partner and I finished in the quarter finals in the AAU Championship in Hermosa Beach,Ca.  I also made the Az Region HP sand team and received a silver medal in Flight One at the USA VB HP Sand Championships in Hermosa Beach, Ca.  I also received a silver medal at a USA VB Junior Beach Tour tournament.   I participated in two Pepperdine Sand camps this past summer as well.  I am interested in playing both indoor and sand volleyball in college.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
