My ultimate dream is simple: live a life full of adventure. I want to travel, try new things, meet new people, push my limits. In a short-term sense, I want to leave my comfort zone and go to school somewhere new and fresh. I want the sport of volleyball to take me as far as it can. I'm ambitious by nature but I also know how to work hard, and I'm not willing to quit until I've realized my dreams.
I've been playing volleyball since 7th grade in school and in 8th grade I started club and beach. I've been captain of my senior varsity team, and my 15U and 16U club teams. I was one of two tenth graders to make the senior varsity team last year, and am now a leader of the team. I was named league all-star last school season. My school team has gone to Provincials every year I've been on it, and has placed 2nd or higher in the league overall.
I am an 'Honours with Distinction' student with a 91% academic average.I am in the honours program (much like AP) for ELA and Biology, where I hold a high 90's average in both subjects. I love biology and I plan to pursue it in college, hopefully focusing on zoology and taking my studies around the world.
