Shelby Trzebiatowski '15 Recruiting Profile

I began running in middle school and have been striving to be the best I can ever since.  I have recently decided I want to run at the collegiate level.  I know that doing so is a magnificent opportunity that could change my life.

I begin every race with the intent of starting and finishing ahead of the field.  I train mostly year-round and am one of the hardest working runners you’ll find.  Once I set a goal in my mind for myself I work untiringly to achieve that goal.  I am a team leader who leads by example while encouraging my teammates to be the best they can be as well.  I am a very coachable athlete who is versatile and open to trying new things and expanding my abilities.

I work hard not only on the track or course but also in the classroom in order to maintain a high GPA.  I volunteer whenever I get the opportunity and participate in interscholastic activities as well as being a member of student council and our student government.

I want to attend a college not only where I can obtain a degree but also continue my love of running competitively.  I hope to make my community, school, and family proud.
