Kathryn Pecha '17 Recruiting Profile

I reach for the attainability of perfection. I am determined in my athletic goals and most importantly, my academic goals. I am looking for a college that will challenge me academically and athletically.

 I am constantly challenging myself in school by taking AP courses and earning a high GPA. I am interested in pursuing Engineering. Athletically, my goal is to compete competitively at the highest level I can achieve. I’ve always dreamed of being an Olympic caliber track athlete.

My favorite sports have always been gymnastics and track and field. Not only do I enjoy them, I follow them at the collegiate and professional levels. These sports have helped shape my traits of being determined and hard-working, as well as making me overcome obstacles, learn from errors, and finding the power within myself to achieve my goals. Sprinting makes complete sense; how much preparation and work I put into my sprint, the better my results will be.
