I first fell in love with running track when I was in Junior High, and will be going into my fourth season of the sport this (2014) year. I run for West Valley High School in Yakima, WA , and a club team in Seattle, WA. My main events being the 100 (with a PR of 11.98) and the 200 (With a PR of 24.91). I put 100% effort into everything I do and am a strong finisher in my races.I placed in State as a Freshman; and as a Sophomore, placed 3rd in the 100, 200, and 4x200 relay, as well as 2nd place in my 4x100. On top of that, I won my region's 2013 Track Athlete of the Year and recieved a First Team All-League Award.
Outside of track, I am involved in several extracurricular activities including: a select choir, musicals, Student Council,, German Club (Which I am the President of) and I plan on going to Germany on an exchange program this summer for a month. I have volunteered in track camps, providing food for the homeless, and raising money for my German Club.
