In High school I was a 4 year varsity cross country and track runner. I ran in the West Regional Footlocker Championships for nationals in December of 2014. I also competed in the track and field Simplot Games racing the 3200 in 2015. I was the captain of my high school cross country team. I am a sub 20 minute 5k runner as well as a sub 12 minute 3200 racer and a 25 minute 4 miler. My strong suit is distance, the longer the better. I competed at the state championships every year for cross country, and in track, due to injury, I only competed at state once my freshman year of high school. Currently I run cross country, and indoor/outdoor track for Eastern New Mexico University. I made the traveling team my freshman year and raced in the NCAA LSC conference championships in Texas and in the NCAA South Central Regional championships in Colorado. I run the 6K, 10k, and occasionally the 5k. I am a biology major minoring in athletic training.
