Magen Potter '12 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'5" Athletic girl who weighs around 120, 115 at race weight, I am not the fastest ever but I have a kick and I can power up hills. I have been in ASB for one year and am the Public relations officer this coming school year. I was our cross country team captain this past year and will be again this coming year; second in the history of U-High to be a junior captain. I would like to stay in the Northwest because its close to home and i know the atmosphere, but I am open to anywhere that offers the programs I want and that fit for me. I am not set on a particular size or type of college; it definitely depends on the overall mood of the school. I do need financial help because my sister is also in college and will be for 2 years while I will be just starting. Medicine has always interested me and it makes the human body like a unknown world of gloriousness. I dream to be a surgeon and be able to save peoples lives and the whole blood and guts stuff is kind of cool and crazy to me. My goal in life is to help people and change there lives in any way shape or form. My athletic goals are to finish a good senior year; qualify for regionals and state, also to make footlocker for the GSL team. Running has been a passion since 8th grade year. My mother held the 880 record at Central Valley High School for 7 years and she ran in college and she always tells me her stories which are super inspiring and how her coach was amazing. I have had 3 different coaches counting next years coach in my high school career and I want a coach who is inspiring and knows how to help his/her athletes achieve greatness.
