Personal Statement

I started running track when I was in middle school as just something to do, little did I know it would become something I truly love. I found a love for track because I am a very competitive and focus driven person.  No matter what I do, I always strive for success.  I think I would be a great candidate for any team because no matter what, I will give 100 percent to my coaches and teammates.  When it comes to character some people are not humble and they take their talents for granted, however that is not me.  I am very grateful for everything I have learned over the years.  I don't take my talents, abilities nor passion for the sport for granted.  I feel that academics and athletics should be held at the same standard.   Doing well on the track is just as important as building and maintaining a strong academic career.   I welcome challenges and look at every opportunity presented to me as a learning experience whether it's win or lose.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
