Erin Hurst '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be the first person in my family to earn a college degree. I have worked very hard since my seventh grade year to make this a reality. This is a goal that I will accomplish.

I understand what it takes in terms of work  to accomplish ones goals.  I have used this work ethic to guide me not only in the class room but also on the track as a runner. Each year I set a goal and  so far I have been able to accomplish my goals. This year I am pushing my self harder than ever before and I am optimistic that I will post my best times yet on the track.

I come from a family that has instilled in me morals and values. I believe that I have a responsibility to be a good person, citizen, daughter, sister, teammate, friend, and student athlete.  

I enjoy running and it is my hope and goal that I can use running to help me become a college graduate and a good person.
