Lauren Purdom '17 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals is to represent a college in something I have passion for which would be track and field. Not only just for track and field but a college that is made for me to also reach my education goals. I would also like my college to feel like home and where I would enjoy being for however long I will be there. My aspirations would be to find a coach that has as much passion as I do for this sport and that will push me to do my best. I also would like my coach to make me a better athlete and to actually show me what I am capable of doing. What makes me a good candidate is I am coach-able, passionate,confident but also humble, and driven about this sport.  What makes me different in character is I encourage others to do their best, a leader, and a rule follower. In the athletic part I am self motivated, good work ethics, and I also like to spend my free time working on my sports to get better. In Academics I am not a procrastinator and I take my education serious and enjoy learning.
