Tylo Farrar '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tylo Kim Farrar, I am going to be a senior at Spearman High School. I am a little over 5'7"and weight less than 120 lbs. I've participated in athletic events all my life and I've been a gold medal winner in track since elementary. My greatest accomplishment is receiving Cross Country Athlete of the Year in 2009 as a sophomore. I'm the lead runner of a three time State Championship team and I've been the leader every year except for my freshman year when I was placed second on the team. I have received All-State in cross country since my freshman year. I am a very hard worker and I set my standards high. I have many goals that I hope to reach someday and I can offer myself as a great runner to any team, striving to make the team better. I push myself to the limit in every work out and I always finish strong. I would like to go to a school in the Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico area due to the mileage away from home. I would like to go to a smaller school but big enough to push my running levels. I've considered going to a Christian school but I am open to any new changes. I would like to major in Physical Education in hope of someday being a Coach or going more into being an athletic trainer. I am also into interior design and artistic majors, but just to improve my art skills. My athletic goal is to make it to a school that will improve my running times and push me to make an impact on the team. I would also like to push myself this last year in high school to prove that I am capable of competing in a higher competition level, even as a freshman in college. My goals in high school are to lead my team to another state championship and set an example to others in my school and out that even a small school can take on such big tasks.
