Hi! My name is Chloe Young and I am an athlete who will do anything to run not for myself but for a team. My freshmen year I got 4th at districts for the 300 hurdles and was an alternate for the 4x4 at regionals. my sophomore year I was district champion in the 100 hurdles and got 3rd in the 300 hurdles. my junior year I was district champion in the 300 hurdles and 2nd in the 100 hurdles. at area I got 5th in the 300 hurdles and 2nd in the 100 hurdles. at regionals I got 5th in the 100 hurdles. I am now chasing the school record in the 100 hurdles and the 300 hurdles. my goal is to get a scholarship to run for a college to help my mom because she has to not only pay for me but also my sister when we go off to college in the same year.I would like to become a physical therapist or a trainer for a school to help people with their injuries like so many wonderful people have helped me with mine. this year my plan is to work on injury prevention, go to state for both hurdles events, and drop my times like I always do. as team captain, my goal is also to make sure that my team improves on there events and feels apart of the team. I cant run for myself. I am fast because I run for my team. my teams dream is my dream. right now, our focus as a team is to win districts and i will do anything in my power to make that happen. my siblings are my life and my inspiration to be a strong willed athlete. Being the oldest of 4 kids makes me a little over protective in a good way. I try to coach my team as if they were my siblings. my life long dream will always be to spread the word of God. God gave me these talents and I praise him through out everything that I do.
